Quality Construction
16” Stud Frames. Some of our competitors use 24” and claim it is green building. Although we agree that being green is important, there are reasons building on 16” makes sense. We live in Oklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains. Homes built on 16” OC withstand shear from wind loads much better. Also, 16" is better for hanging wall cabinets and other heavy fixtures. (Tornado / Weather Safety Feature)
Post-tensioning Foundations. This foundation offers a 10-year engineered design warranty and is stronger than other methods. An engineered solution, post-tensioning is designed to exacting standards and code requirements, has an excellent performance record and offers increased reliability.
Anchor Bolts. Anchor bolts are J shaped bolts which lock into the cement of the stem wall and anchor to the bottom plate of your home. (Tornado / Weather Safety Feature)
OSB (Oriented Strand Board). Homes constructed using OSB are stronger than those built with foam board or ordinary plywood. OSB is strong plywood made by alternating the orientation of the layers for added strength. (Tornado / Weather Safety Feature)
Full Brick Exterior with Lifetime Transferrable Warranty. Full brick exteriors provide many amenities including:
Low Maintenance – no painting, patching, fading, warping or rotting.
Energy Efficiency – 3” of ceramic material that is approximately the density and consistency of stone allows virtually no air infiltration and provides good insulation from exterior temperature changes.
Storm Protection – Bricks don’t typically blow off the house in a hailstorm like other materials. (Tornado / Weather Safety Feature)
25 Year Architectural Shingles. These shingles are more attractive than traditional tab shingles. They also have a greater thickness with better wind tear-off resistance and are highly fire resistant. (Tornado / Weather Safety Feature)
Insulated Garage Doors. Insulated Garage Doors are made with a continuous layer of foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation.
Wirsbo-Aquapex Plumbing System. This system is flexible and durable – it won’t pit, scale or corrode. It is also backed by a 25-year limited warranty!
Smoke Detectors and Burglar Alarms. We know that keeping your family safe is important to you. It is important to us too. We include smoke detectors and burglar alarms in all homes.
Luxury Standard Features. Granite countertops, garden tub in master bath, beautiful hardware and lighting packages, fireplaces, covered patios, spacious living and kitchen areas, and family friendly floor plans are standard luxury features built right in our homes! Bonus rooms and 3 car garages are also available in our homes as upgrades!
Builder Warranty Program. We stand behind our quality. Our Builder Warranty program is designed to ensure your satisfaction once the construction process is complete and you’ve settled in to your new home. In fact, we have a Customer Service and Warranty Manager who is ready and willing to help schedule your warranty repairs.
